The chase for first-place in the NFC just got that much more interesting.The Cowboys, captured a wire-to-wire victory over divisional rivals Philadelphia, outmatching the Eagles in all three facets of the game to conquer their foes, 33-13, in a result that brings Dallas level with Philly in the NFC East.It was another impre sive outing for Mike McCarthy's squad. The Cowboys (10-3) were firing on all cylinders, piecing together strong showings from Dak Prescott, Jake Ferguson, Stephon Gilmore and Brandon Aubrey, among others, to blot their opposition's influence. The Eagles (10-3) couldn't answer, especially not as a torrent of points continued to stream from Prescott and Co.'s fingertips.Prescott's Ernie Banks Jersey early-season cobwebs are increasingly proving a thing of the past. The star side-winder enjoyed another efficient performance, completing 24-of-39 pa ses for 271 yards and two touchdowns. He's up to 28 scores on the year compared to just six interceptions. And as the year progre ses, he figures to be one of the leading candidates .He wasn't alone, though. Ferguson and CeeDee Lamb were similarly vivacious. Ferguson strung together his second straight 70-plus yard showing, while Lamb did that thing he always seems to do: score touchdowns. Lamb netted a grab in the end zone for the fifth game consecutively.Dallas' defense was similarly effective, forcing fumbles not once, not twice, but three times to stifle Philly's typically excellent attack. Aubrey's excellence from the spot kick he nailed four efforts from distance, three of which came from 50-plus yards further added to the Birds' dismay.Simply put, it was a complete display from the Cowboys. Now, the race for the conference's top prize (so far) gets that much tighter.
